The Nan Gray Davis PTO Trunk or Treat will be Saturday, October 25, from 6:00PM to 7:30PM. We hope you make plans to attend this fun community event! There will be food trunks onsite, along with prizes for the best trunks and costumes. See the graphic for the QR code you can scan to sign up to host a trunk. We look forward to seeing you there!

Congratulations to our Kids with Character for the month of September. This month's character trait was EMPATHY. Empathy is the ability to understand and share another person's feelings, thoughts, and experiences by putting yourself in their situation. These students are great examples to their peers and models of what we want our Jr Bobcats to be!

Congratulations to our Red Ribbon Leader, Paisley Smith! Paisley is a great role model to her peers and a wonderful example of what a Jr. Bobcat is--kind, compassionate, and respectful. Over the coming months, Paisley will be working to complete a service project as part of the Red Ribbon Week campaign. We are incredibly proud of you, Paisley!

Tomorrow is a Virtual Learning Day. Teachers sent home work packets with students last week. Students are to complete these work packets tomorrow and bring them back to school on Tuesday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 23.

We are looking forward to welcoming our grandparents for Grandparents' Day Lunch tomorrow! As a reminder, grandparents will be able to eat with their grandchild during his or her regular lunch time. Grandparents will check in at the front lobby and then meet their grandchild in the cafeteria. Grandparents are welcome to eat in the cafeteria or outside, so feel free to bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs. We will see you all tomorrow!
Our annual Grandparents' Day Lunch is this Thursday, September 18. Grandparents can join us for lunch during their child's normal lunch time.

Parents, thank you for continuing to make school attendance a priority! September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we have seen great attendance so far this month. Thanks to your help, we have made tremendous improvement in our school attendance rates over the past several years. Great student outcomes start with great attendance!
