ACAP Testing starts this week! Our students have been working extremely hard to prepare for these important tests, and we know they are going to do their very best. Please make sure all students are at school on time throughout the testing window, which runs from March 18 through April 9.

Yearbooks are still on sale! The cost of this year's yearbook is only $30. You can order yearbooks online at www.yearbookordercenter.com using order number 26011 (see image for the QR code). You may also send cash or check made out to Nan Gray Davis to your child's teacher. The deadline to order is March 27. Delivery will be in May.

Tomorrow (Friday, March 13) is a Virtual Learning Day. Work packets will be sent home with students today that they should complete over the weekend. Students will return to school on Tuesday, March 17, after the Teacher Work Day on Monday.

Congratulations to our Kids with Character for the month of February! These students were selected by their peers and teachers for always displaying KINDNESS to others. We are very proud of these Jr. Bobcats for being great role models to their peers.

We are proud to recognize Lucero Ramos Antonio as this year's Learning, Leading Award winner at Nan Gray Davis Elementary School! Lucero's journey at our school stands out as one of remarkable perseverance, achievement, and leadership. Lucero enrolled at Nan Gray Davis in Kindergarten during the COVID-19 pandemic knowing no English. Yet, Lucero never allowed any obstacles define her. She continued to make meaningful growth in English proficiency, eventually testing out of the ESL program as a 4th grade student. Lucero is part of our gifted and talented PACE program, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills and intellectual curiousity. But above all, it is Lucero's character that makes her most deserving of this award. Lucero compassionately supports new Spanish-speaking students at our school, helping them to feel welcomed and valued. Lucero truly is a rold model for her peers and a great example of what we want a Jr. Bobcat to be. We are so proud of you, Lucero!
