🎉 Big Warrior Wins at Davidson High School! 🎉
We’re proud to celebrate three outstanding educators who are in year 2 of the 3-year Advanced Placement Individual Teacher Training and Incentive Program, a grant initiative sponsored by A+ College Ready. This program provides intensive training, classroom resources, and ongoing support to help teachers and students succeed in AP courses. Additionally, students receive $100 gift cards for passing scores on the AP exam.
👏 Mr. Daigle (AP Computer Science Principles & AP Computer Science A)
👏 Mrs. Van den Bosch (AP World History & AP Psychology)
👏 Mr. Lowell (AP U.S. History)
Thanks to their dedication — and our students’ hard work — we were awarded $19,900 in gift cards to give to students who earned passing scores on their AP exams in May 2025! 💳💪
We’re so proud of these teachers for their commitment to lifelong learning, and of our Warriors for rising to the challenge! 🖤💛

Proud of their dedication to community and excellence! 🖤💛

Private First Class Pascosime Niyontsinzi , DHS Class of 2024, graduated from USMC boot camp at Parris Island on October 17 and is now headed to the School of Infantry at Camp Geiger, NC. After four weeks, he’ll head to California to continue training for his Military Occupational Specialties in communications.
He recently stopped by campus to visit and update one of his former teachers, Mrs. Smolinski.
Once a Warrior, always a Warrior! 🖤💛

This morning, our amazing PTSA helped us honor our all A and A/B Honor Roll students with a special breakfast! 🥞🍳 We’re so proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic achievement.
Way to go, Warriors! 💛🖤

Members of our Project Outreach club teamed up with their friends today to decorate pumpkins for our hallway patch, then went “trick or treating” and turned the room into a dance floor — conga line included! 🕺🍬🎶
The smiles were contagious and the joy was palpable. What a fun and meaningful time for everyone involved! 💛🖤

This Halloween week, they treated our teachers with the perfect mix of sweet and salty snacks. 🍫🍿
Thank you for your thoughtfulness and support — we’re so grateful!

Kia McMillian, DHS Class of 2009, recently joined one of our Prospective Student and Family tours—with her son by her side! After the tour, she shared a heartfelt letter that captured the spirit of Davidson beautifully:
"The school has grown so much—new faces, new programs, same heart."
Her words are a powerful reminder of the legacy and love that lives on through our alumni. 💫

Culinary 2 celebrated their Unit 2 test with TikTok-style folded tacos, while Culinary 1 whipped up nine global sauces for NJROTC to sample ahead of their Inspection Lunch. We wrapped up the week with a service project at Leinkrauf Elementary for Childhood Nutrition Day, sponsored by the Mobile Chapter of the ACF.
Our Culinary Warriors grilled up nutritious grilled cheese with pickles and served over 600 students, teachers, and staff!
This marks our 4th year participating, and we love seeing our students shine in the school and the community.
Go Warriors! 💛🖤 Yay Culinary!
🎉 Congratulations to Ethan Banks! 🎉
Ethan has been named one of Academy of Craft Training’s October 2025 Employees of the Month for his outstanding performance in both the classroom and the shop. This recognition is selected by the instructor for being "that student that stood out above the rest."
His instructor, Mr. Davis, shared:
“This student is always attentive, always has a good attitude as well as having good grades. He is good in the classroom, in the shop, and is very coachable. He will be an asset to any company. I see him in a leadership position in the near future. Bright future ahead for this young man.”
We’re proud of you, Ethan! 🌟
